Shane Thompson

Kia ora I've been around music and musicians since I can remember. Born in the 70s (50yrs) young in August I have Good knowledge,also a good ear of a wide range of different genres music.A natural gifted ear & rythum for music at a very young age (3-4yrs) a gifted vocalist. My parents seen my natural talent with music& musical Instruments they brought my first keyboard self taught then as I got older began attending piano lessons & theory I never enjoyed theory which led me to quit at grade 5 music theory. As I got older a mate at primary school had been getting guitar lessons,(8-9) years old so I had a real Interest in learning the acoustic guitar. A local band use to rehearse in our big old orchard shed,I use to go and listen on the Sunday and became interested in the drums. So one thing led to another and have become an all rounder since then. My parents still have my first ever school report which in music comments (1978) Shane had a very jean Interest in music with a very strong vocal voice. So way back then people notice my musical ability. I'm now kean to join or start a band meet other musos share our knowledge & talents and who knows something good could happen. I live on the shore currently unemployed have 4 year old living with my partner looking to meet like minded people and new friendships.
