Billie Hart

I am a clarinettist and pianist in the Hibiscus Coast area. I graduated from my Masters of Music at the University of Auckland with first class honours and won the Ken Wilson Memorial Prize for highest marks in clarinet performance for four years in a row. For my dissertation I did research into early clarinets and historically informed performance. I have experience in solo, orchestral and chamber playing, and I additionally specialise in the 5-key clarinet.
Outside of the classical world I work with instrumentalists and singers providing piano accompaniment. I have supported musicians through ABRSM and Trinity exams, as well as competitions. I am a musical director and vocal coach for musical theatre (most recently Legally Blonde with Auckland Performing Arts academy), so I am familiar with a range of musical styles and am comfortable working with all ages and groups of all sizes.
