My name is Istvan Heffner (Steve).
I came to Auckland in 2023 with my family, we live in Clevedon.
I work as an engineer in East Tamaki.
I started my musical career as a drummer about 25 years ago. Since I was born in Hungary (Europe) and lived there until 2023, I like to play ethnic and folk music (Hungarian and Balkan). With unique rhythms and folk instruments. I used to play in several typical ethno rock bands.
The other way is the rock. I played in a Bon Jovi tribute band for many years.
I'm interested in ethnic, country, funky, rock and metal
music. But I don't have much experience with metal.
I currently have a Roland e-drum (TD-17 KVX) to practice with and could use in my new band.
