Musician needing to make some noise

Hey
32 year old musician from Scotland here. Moved to Auckland about a year ago and I have just started to find my feet.
I am keen to get a project going to write some songs with like minded individuals.
No particular style or requirements, just happy to jam some ideas, see where it goes.
I am capable of playing different instruments but I am mainly a guitarist by trade. I used to also sing in my previous band as well if required.
I have a wide range of influences from acoustic to progressive metal. Massive fan of bands like muse, biffy Clyro, Radiohead, Opeth, Ben Howard, David Gray, John Martin, Coldplay (old), ihsahn, mastodon, baroness and a lot more.
Would love to work on trying to combine styles and make something unique, so genre isn’t an issue.
