Originals Musician from Dunedin
I'm 19, picked up guitar at 15, I dress like a hair metaller, and I can play like you wouldn't believe (kissing my own ass I know lol, just trying to sell myself to ya haha). I'm into a certain spectrum of music that ranges from rock to heavy metal. Been writing music of my own for a little while here in Dunedin (I'm a student so I head back to wellington during breaks if anyone there is interested), and I'm looking for like minded individuals to start an originals band in anything of the mentioned genres above. Another guitarist would be nice, drummer and bassist absolutely needed. Singer is optional. I can sing if I have to, but I prefer to focus on the lead. Can do both.
As a founding member of Caravel I wrote and developed music for performance and recording, gigging regularly throughout 2022 and eventually recording a single at the prestigious Surgery Recording Studio (L.A.B., Shapeshifter). I have played in venues all over Wellington and the Kapiti Coast. We were also invited to play at a number of gigs including kapiti multifest, Pickle Pot Be-in 2023 and The Fringe Festival. I've also played as the guitarist for 4 years in my school jazz band as well as a guest virtuoso in the Paraparaumu College Amadeus Orchestra in an arrangement of Always With Me, Always With You by Joe Satriani.
