Hi Jesse here, I'm a guitarist 5 years experience on electric guitar, I love old Woodstock Era music, hendrix, dead, led zep, santana, oh and I love dire straits.
I'm looking to get into a band and start regular jams and see where it can go, I have a good understanding of music theory and can learn songs easily, I like to break their structures down so I can solo over them.
I can pick up new songs given a couple days the get the structures in my head then I can improvise over them and jam ect
I'm a big greatful dead fan and love learning and playing their songs (well the ones I have learnt so far any way)
I have ambitious plans of getting singing lessons soon also, my idol is Jerry Garcia.
I think I getting there while singing in the car, happy to give it a shot in a band jaming inviroment.
I have experience Jaming with drumers/ other guitarists and can keep to the beat and timing Grove with backup guitar and lead lines.
Songs I can play of the top of my head.. Hey Joe, Althea, Bertha, west la fade away, fire on the mountain, blues 1-4-5 stuff, in the gallery dire straits.
I live in blockhouse bay, I also have a big double garage where jam space is a definite possibility.
