Hi there.

I’m John (JT) a drummer based out of rotorua. I’ve been playing for the past 8years in a series of different covers/original bands and also solo artists. Two years ago I decided to lay off the live scene and focus on my skill set as a drummer by studying and obtaining a cert/diploma at Toi ohomai contemporary music course here in rotorua.. by doing so it help me not only gain the skill set I was seeking but also gave me the knowledge needed to further my playing as a drummer. This course has help me path the way for the future of my own playing. I’m currently teaching drums at rotorua music school and also private lessons as well in which I’ve found a real passion to show and teach the knowledge I obtain.
