Forming a J Rock Band

Seeking Vocalist, Lead Guitarist, Drummer & Bassist
I'm a rhythm guitarist looking to form a powerful, emotionally-driven J-Rock band inspired by the golden era of Japanese rock — think Luna Sea, Glay, L'ArcenCiel, X Japan, Dir En Grey, and other legendary acts from the 80s/90s scene.
We’ll kick things off with covers of iconic J-Rock songs — from soaring ballads to hard-hitting rock anthems — and potentially move into originals once we gel. Whether you love visual kei, melodic hooks, or intense stage energy, the aim is to channel that spirit with authenticity and passion.
I’ve played in several bands over the years and am fully committed to creating something serious and lasting. I’m looking for dedicated, like-minded musicians who want to bring this vision to life.
Looking for:
Vocalist – strong range, emotional delivery, and ideally open to singing in Japanese. Otherwise we can try to rework the lyrics for English. Done it before
Lead Guitarist – melodic, expressive, with flair and a solid understanding of J-Rock guitar work
Drummer – tight, dynamic, and creative
Bassist – groove-driven with good tone and stage presence

Based in Auckland – must be reliable, ready to rehearse regularly, and committed to the project.
