!!!! BASS PLAYER NEEDED !!!!
We are a 3 piece RocknRoll band, based in Auckland, who have recently parted ways with our bassist. We have been playing together for 3.5 years, doing gigs and have recently just released our debut album.
We are looking for someone in their 20’s who are dedicated to their craft and is hungry to join this group. Backing vocals are a plus, and so is keys!
You will need to have your own gear and be available for at-least 1 practice per week. We try to do atleast 2 gigs a month if possible, but some months are busier than others. For example, all of January and most of Feb was booked out for gigs.
We have around 2.5 hours of live material, mostly originals but a few covers mixed in from bands like the Beatles, Marshall Tucker band, the Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin just to name a few. We pull a lot of inspiration from rockabilly blues bands also, and are big fans of the late great Danny Gatton.
In the near future once the new bassist is up to speed we want to get into gigging again, and then ramp up to tour the debut album. We have already started writing material for the next album too so we don’t want things to slow down at all.
