Band mates wanted for covers originals band

I'd be interested to hear from other musicians who would be keen to start a covers band, ideally with some original music thrown in. I'm in my 40s and live in Wellington and have job/kids etc nowadays so looking for people in a similar situation who want to play music for fun - practices once a week, occasional gigs if we want to, that sort of thing rather than big commitments. I play bass and would be keen to hear from vocalists, guitarists, drummers, and keyboardists. Have played in several bands in my younger years but other stuff has taken over more recently. Ideally looking for the classic 4-5 member guitar based band line up.

I grew up on a music diet of classic rock/pop and indie music and this is still what I'm mostly keen on playing. Favorite artists are The Beatles/R.E.M./Radiohead/Crowded House/Dire Straits/Wilco/The Police, but keen to give anything in those genres a go.

Have been meaning to do this for years now so looking forward to hearing from you if you have similar interests and would be keen to give this a go.
