BIOGRAPHY

Chilean singer, composer, songwriter and music producer. His music is characterized by a pop sound influenced by soul, rock, electronic, indie-pop, folk and Latin American folklore.

In 2013 premiered Niños con Pistola, the first single from his first album (EP) Prólogo. This single was mastered by Grammy winner 2012 Chris Gehringer connotes music producer of Madonna, Kanye West and Rihanna.

The EP was recorded by Prabha, engineer who has worked with artists such as Dante Spinetta and Los Tetas. Additionally, the mixture was in charge by engineer-producer Gonzalo Gonzalez, who has done the disks of Francisca Valenzuela and Gepe.

Gonzalo Bañados has composed music since childhood, beginning his musical career 17 years ago as a vocalist and songwriter in rock, jazz and experimental bands. From 2003 to 2005 he studied folk singing with a tutor from University of Chile. Later, he began his solo career working on adding electronic programming (MIDI). Since 2011, he has performed as a soloist in places like Opera Catedral, Bar Loreto, El Clan, Subterráneo and Sala Master, among others. His album has been very well commented in various media both national and foreign.
