27yo recently moved from UK. Took a band/ music hiatus for a few years and now ready to jump back into the scene in a new country.
I sing, play drums and guitar, can get by on keys too. Mainly interested in jamming and writing originals, and I have a degree in music composition and production.
Influences include:
Symphonic/ Folk/ Black Metal: Nightwish, Turisas, Wilderun, Elvenking, Windrose,Wintersun, Amon Amarth, Eluveitie, Alestorm, Woods of Ypres, Alcest, Apocalypse Orchestra.
Jazz/ big band stuff too: Snarky Puppy, Jacob Collier, anyone that collabs with Metropole Orkest.
Folk/ Trad: Talisk, Morningsiders.
Totally up for other stuff too, keen to see what kind of music Aucklanders are about!
