Just a drummer of 13 years (19 years old by the way) looking to do something with my instrument, as you can tell from my profile picture and maybe even username, I enjoy anime and things of that nature like manga and Japanese music in general, city pop, Jpop, Idol pop etc. these all may seem silly or weird, but majority of these songs include super high energy fills, ridiculous stupid cymbal chokes and things you won’t get anywhere else, but that’s just the main stuff I enjoy, I use a playlist of 800+ songs to practice too and at this point in time I can play basically every single song by ear perfectly note for note (a bit exaggerated but it’s true for the most part) and only 70% of that playlist is Japanese music, the rest consist’s of progressive rock, K-pop, jazz, metal, funk fusion and a whole lot of other genres, the one big problem though is my kit, I’ve been using the same kit I had since I started and I’m not completely sure gigs or bands have a kit lying around everywhere they go but if there’s a kit and some sticks and even a double bass drum pedal trust me you won’t be disappointed.
