Bassist needed for established alt rock band

Established alt-rock band based in Auckland & central Kaipara require a new bassist to join the band. The band has been gaining momentum with airplay on The Rock and Hauraki, several charting singles and recent studio work with one of NZ's best emerging producers.
We're not easy to box, the band varies in genre and has a lot of influences; Smashing Pumpkins, The Cars, Metallica, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Shihad, Weta, Jimmy Eat World, Queens of the Stoneage, Weezer, Radiohead, Muse, Nirvana, Pennywise and just loads more.
We are a little older and experienced, so need someone with chops, but we're definitely not ageist, sexist, racist, or phobic of any kind, so keen for anyone to apply... as long as YOU'RE KEEN! Backing vocals are a must.
You can be based anywhere between Whangarei and Auckland really, our regular practice is currently in Auckland (lead guitarist is in West Auckland & songwriter just north of Auckland), but there will be an obligation to head up to the studio in central Kaipara from time to time to have longer sessions and record some demos.
