Opening act available or Combine collaborate gig and grow

I am a singer songwriter with a good set of original tracks.
This years plan is recording a demo album in May in Palmy and get gigging.
If your a covers band who'd be keen on a good free original opening act, think about giving me a go. If you already have paid gigs lined up, ofcourse that income is 100% yours. For now I just want to get gigging.
As a vocalist, i also would be keen to team up with or get together a good covers band component to add to my overall act and combine these band covers with my originals act, then hopefully, later on, if we gel in regards to being a creative band, start working on our own originals as a band
I have gigged a few years back and got great feedback for my stuff, which I feel I have improved on and beefed up since then.
I am not a good covers guitarist, I'm self taught and create my own tunes, but not into playing covers on guitar, to be honest, I'd love the chances to be able to put the guitar down at times and just sing. If you already have a singer, all good, I can sit out covers or join in and harmonize etc.
Practice and gig anywhere from Hamilton to Palmy and anywhere in between.
I am located near Ruapehu. Happy to travel for practices.
Looking for humble happy real people. No posers, just good times, laid back but good amount of work ethic so we don't waste our time.
