Experienced Guitarist retired to Tauranga area

Have played in Cover Bands over many years and would still like to carry on even though retired to Papamoa Tauranga. An occasional gig or more is fine by me, like to have the music together though, before taking on a job.
Probably would prefer 70s to 2000s covers and enjoy putting a good classic song or two together, but happy to look at most genres.
Great Gear, and transport. Still working with some Auckland band members occasionally doing a mix of soul, rock, and blues.. and anything danceable. Solos no problem , mostly a rock feel but can be jazzy if need be.
Like everyone else it would be great to fit into an established band , however I know the reality is usually start from scratch. Would preferably like to stick to my local area, Tauranga, however will consider all options.
