Do you like early 90s hiphop like De La Soul

Kia ora koutou! Experienced bass player and drummer looking for competent and experienced guitarist, keys player and MC with some singing ability to form a new Auckland based project in 2025 based on that early 90s funk/soul hiphop vibe. Multi-instrumentalists welcome but we really need guitar and keys to be separate things.

We’re both busy musicians part-time (bass) and full-time (drummer) so we’ll be trying to fit this in amongst other projects and commitments. This is a little bit of an experiment to start with but if it all pans out then we can make bigger plans from there around regular gigs.

Would help if you have your own gear and transport as we’re both pretty spread out around Auckland (North West and Central) and don’t want anyone to have to travel too far for rehearsal.
