Meet Lakius - New Zealand's 4th best post-industrial/groove-metal duo. Lakius is an Auckland based 2 piece metal band. Formed by Broken Season founder Tony Charles (guitars,vocals,programming), and Caz (guitars,bv,bass). During the global pandemic of 2020 Lakius were separated by distance, and quarantine style nation wide lockdown. Tony and Caz found solace continuing to write long distance, and leaning into a more industrial sound. ‘This Tension’ was released, solidifying the new creative process. Lakius delivers an assault on the senses, which is confronting, explicit, and at times, vulnerable. Honest, and uncompromising lyrics, low tones, grinding rhythms.
