Primary instrument: guitar - mainly rhythm but also lead

Vocals: can sing lead or backup vocals

Other instruments: bass (solid but heavily influenced by my approach to guitar), some keys (synth leads, organ, bass, etc.), drums, and other random instruments like the bamboo flute (but certainly no expert with these)

Song writing: I have a catalogue of 30+ originals and many more unfinished ideas and experiments; I am open to building on these, writing new stuff, and/or playing other people's tunes

Genres: I dig all kinds of music, but have been heavily influenced by psychedelia and neo-psychedelia (and the Velvet Underground, wherever they fit), classic bluesy rock, prog rock, country rock (e.g., Silver Jews and Gram Parsons, not modern country music), surf, post rock, post punk, and other similar genres and sub-genres (including some avante garde and experimental music more generally).

Experience: I've been playing music regularly for 20+ years so I'm very comfortable on my main instruments and vocals; I used to do some light gigging but in recent years I've mainly been doing informal jam sessions.
