Looking to start a band

I play guitar, sing a bit (happy to do BVs too), have the gear, have some songs, and want to make some good noise with good people.

I'm Tez, early 40s, based in Auckland, and looking for:

Drums | Bass | Other guitar | Maybe vocals

I'm not expecting to be the next Queen, Metallica, Foos or U2. I'm just hoping there are some other people out there who fancy making a noise, maybe writing some songs, blow off some steam, and seeing where it goes, without feeling the need to be touring the world next week. Hey, if it never leaves the jam room and we get to exorcise some demons, that's fine with me too.

Good people, good music, a few beverages of your choice, some good noise. Let's just turn up and see what happens.

Musically, I'm a bit all over the place as I think most of us are. Metallica, Niteworks, The Prodigy, Fear Factory, Bush, Agnes Obel, Peter Gabriel, Queen, Muse, Seal, Elton John, Incubus, Machine Head, Karnivool, Deep Purple... it's all in there somewhere.

I've got a few songs already written linked here, but I'm absolutely up for writing together and enjoying what everyone brings to the table. It's not about playing my songs, it's not 'my band' - It's about making something that's ours.
