Guitarist bassist singer Looking for likeminded musos midwest posthc

Experienced guitarist of 6 yrs, i've been looking to start an emo/alt/midwest project for ages now but it's difficult finding others in auckland who dig the same sort of stuff.
I want to make music like jank/freethrow/title fight/train breaks down/dinosaur jr/hum.
Really into making crowds go nuts, and feel like auckland lacks a midwest esk scene, ik there are a few bands, but would be cool to get the masses to appreciate the genre more.

Just gauging interest, I know a couple great drummers, but they're wishy washy so would be cool to get an experienced drummer that can somewhat commit, otherwise just looking for likeminded musos, nothing specific.
