Oliver

Hi I'm Oliver! I'm based in Invercargill and I am willing to join a band as a singer and collaborate with others on something creative and unique. I mainly play keyboards and have done so for around 7 years. This is my main instrument and I'm semi experienced with it. I have played with others as a keyboard player before such as in a band called Youden.

However, I'm a little burnt out of keys and I have been taking an interest in vocals. I have been practising for many years and I'm still not the greatest, but I'm improving with my singing. I have been playing in a group called Youden, and here you can listen to some of my vocals on Spotify.

My influences are all over the place. I am a big lover of post punk bands such as Joy Division, Bauhaus, etc - all the way to prog bands such as Tool, Meshuggah, King Crimson, etc. I am also a big fan of British folk music! I am fond of odd rhythms and polyrhythms too.

If anyone is ok with a singer who isn't the greatest, but is improving, I would love to join something creative and work on originals!
