Hostile Witness

Hostile Witness is an established Auckland-based 10-piece soul, funk and party band looking for a new lead male vocalist.

The band features:

- Keys
- Two saxophones
- Trumpet
- Three vocalists

We perform regularly at venues such as Ponsonby Social Club, as well as private functions, birthday parties, corporate events and community festivals.

We're a friendly group of musicians ranging from our 30s to 50s, all with day jobs, families and busy lives outside music. The band has been together for many years and enjoys a stable line-up. Vacancies are rare and usually happen when life, work or family commitments take people in different directions.

About the Band

This is primarily a band for people who love playing music.

While most gigs are paid, we're not a commercial covers band chasing maximum gig income. We play because we enjoy performing, improving as musicians, and sharing great music with audiences. Any gig income is a bonus rather than the reason we do it.

We typically rehearse around once a month, with additional rehearsals before larger gigs when needed.
