Having just tipped over into my 40s I am reliably informed that my primary genre of music is defined as Dad rock!

Played in original and cover bands (guitar and singing) from around 2000 - 2013.

Moved overseas at that stage and shifted to predominantly recording at home in my small studio.

Over recent years I've found I have more time on my hands since coming back to Dunedin, and I've missed being able to jam with others over a few beers in a garage on the weekend. Alice in Chains, Tool, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Shihad etc have all been good to me, but I've also branched out a bit into all sorts of pop and rock - stuff like The Cars for example.

Have quite a bit of gear and still record originals and covers regularly at my small home studio. There seems to be less folk around in Dunedin (or the lower South Island) these days who are keen to jam, I'm not sure if that's true or perhaps just that I'm in a different phase of life now. Certainly there's less venues available, and practice spaces has been a bit of a challenge, so if anyone is keen to connect I'd be pleased to catch up.
