One Single Studio Recording Musicians Wanted

Hi all,

I’m looking for some musicians to jump on board for the rerecording of an unreleased single I’ve been sitting on since earlier this year.

I’m taking it into Nightshift Studios in the coming weeks and want to really push it sonically. I’m rewriting the lyrics around the same theme, reworking the arrangement and aiming for a bigger, fuller and more cohesive version.

I’m a bassist and lyricist, very groove and melody driven. I’m looking for:

Guitarist
Keyboard player
Drummer
Singer

I’m already talking to a couple of people about drums and vocals, but nothing’s locked in.
Musically, it sits somewhere between psychedelic, indie, folk, pop rock and funk rock. I’m not trying to squeeze it into one box. I want it to groove, have hooks, character and its own identity.

I’m looking for people who want to bring their own ideas and personality to the track. I’ve got the bones of it, but I’m not precious about every detail. If you hear something and think “What if we tried this?”, I want to hear it.

The finished single will be released under a new band name, with a new music video planned as well. I storyboarded and directed the original video, so I’m keen to have another crack at that side of things too.
