Kia ora, I'm a vocalist in Wellington looking to meet some fellow musos who may be interested in setting up a covers band / act for events or for local nights - anything from acoustic guitar/vocals set-up to full band.
I'm in my late 30s and have a full-time job, so it would be a weekend rehearsal / evening jam vibe, ideally looking for a more soul/jazz/pop energy rather than the usual covers set-lists. (Recent projects I have been part of have included artists like London Grammar, Dusty Springfield, Olivia Dean, Moloko, Ezra Collective.)
Either that, or a full blown house music covers band like Rhythm of the 90s (cover band in the UK). I reckon Wellington would be a prime spot for that!
