Hi, looking to meet anyone out there who also wants to put an original band together. I can play guitar, bass or drums, and a mate of mine is a drummer, so ideally if we can find a guitarist or bassist we should be able to put something together. A singer would be a plus too in case nobody else wants to do vocal duties. We have no real expectations and don't care how experienced or talented you are or how much your gear cost, main goal is enjoying ourselves. Looking for more of a punk energy than musical virtuosos, even though we are also big fans of other genres like metal. The drummer and I used to play misfits style music so horror themes are a potential base to build off if nothing better comes up and we all want to go that way, but we don't want to set anything in stone just yet because the whole band will find the sound, image, name etc. You'd only need a way to get to weekly meetups, where we could have a drink, a few laughs and work on some music. Our ages are mid thirties to mid forties, and we are based in West Auckland.
