I'm a singer and bassist from England with some fresh material which I'd like to start gigging with. I'm 25 and have been playing music about 10 years, recently moved up from Christchurch where i acquired a love of a particular surf, garage, punk rock style which I'm really into at the moment. My songs have a reminiscent sound of Joy Division, Stone Roses, The Jam and early 90s brit pop. Combining this with the Flying Nun sounds I've discovered since being in NZ.

I love writing simple songs with a lot of energy and a signature sound. Taking simple verse/chorus structures through to funky jams and the occasional post punky build up and solo..

I'd really like to meet a drummer with solid gigging experience and a lead or rhythm guitarist with individual style and flare. I have some material written (about 5 songs) but am totally open to learning about yours and your own style and collaborating to create a band and start jamming/busking/gigging and making sick music!
