Ive been playing drums for more than 20 years and im constantly trying to improve and build on my style. Mainly I've played in outfits writing our own music and coming up with new sounds. Currently im playing with Shane Cortese & the 8 Track Band who are a corporate covers band playing NZ and Australian tunes from the 80s. Im also the drummer for Push Push who are a North Shore guitar rock band from the 90s. At the moment interested in quite heavy music, I've always loved the drumming in a lot of the heavier bands out there so im looking to hook up with any musicians who share the same interests. A couple of drummers that I wish I could play like are Ray Luzier (Korn) and Joey Jordison (Slipknot). Other drummers that I look up to are Matt Cameron, Stuart Copeland, Stephen Perkins to name a few.
