Christchurch-based covers and originals band, established 1999.
Initially forming to play original arrangements of traditional Irish tunes, and covers of Irish classics, all in a tongue-in-cheek hard rock format, The Stoutfellows have matured into a highly polished and well-rounded band.
Performing regularly in the Christchurch area, the setlist now contains a much more eclectic mix. Van Morrison, Pogues, and Thin Lizzy standards have been joined by the likes of Metallica, Muse, King of Leon, and Weezer.
