Flicker

Female vocalist looking for a guy to make music with, preferably a singer/guitarist. I'm an experienced, competent singer myself, with a history in musical theatre and bands, as well as recording.

The icing on the cake would be meeting someone who's using software to compose and create, and who wouldn't mind showing a fast learner the ropes. I currently record using an AT4033a for vocals and mix in Adobe Audition (aka Cool Edit), but for the kind of music I want to compose, I really need software. I can play guitar and keyboard well enough to record, but it's nothing special. I'm really more a vocalist.

As a singer, I'm a mezzo with a fairly versatile voice. Crowded House / NIN / Adele / Muse / Fleetwood Mac / 21 Pilots is the range where I'm most comfortable.

The only music that doesn't really interest me is metal (and harder) - my voice doesn't just doesn't suit it - and I'm not a fan of schmaltzy modern female pop music of the over-processed, written-by-the-same-three-songwriters variety. :-)
