NEW Analogue Recording

2 hrs ago 30 views
Technological changes over the past few decades and especially the past few years have increasingly put controllable, saleable product first and artform second.
This has had a detrimental effect on art and the creative process and now threatens to completely displace creativity.
Theft of art to feed a lifeless tool, has been permitted, endorsed and accepted.

What can be done? Get angry? Protest? Or...?
DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

Analogue Recording and distribution may not be as convenient as digital - but can protect works and detect artificial works through analysis.
Analogue mass storage would be ideal, but does not exist, yet.
In the meanwhile, cassette tape could provide an alternative method. Cassette recorders and playback machines can be greatly improved, in terms of fidelity (when compared to old machines). And cassette tape is much cheaper than reel-to-reel.
