Bassist Wanted for Jrock Jmetal band Hitokiri Auckland NZ

Hitokiri is currently looking for a full-time bassist to join our band.

We’re a J-Rock/J-Metal band based in Auckland, actively gigging and building momentum in the local scene. Our style is heavily influenced by bands like X Japan, The GazettE, Dir en Grey, ONE OK ROCK, MY FIRST STORY, and L’Arc~en~Ciel with a strong focus on Visual Kei, metal, and J-Rock.

We gig regularly at local venues and events. Perform at conventions and festivals (Cosmo Con, Lantern Fest, and more). Write and perform original music in Japanese (as well as covers), are planning to enter the studio later this year to record and release singles/EPs on streaming platforms, actively aim to grow the Japanese music scene in NZ

We’re looking for someone who:

- Plays bass at a solid level (tight, reliable, stage-ready)

-Is committed and keen to rehearse and gig regularly

-Is into Japanese music

-Wants to be part of something long-term and growing

-If you’re a bassist who's into Japanese music (Primarily rock and metal/vkei) and looking to join an active, gigging band and be part of building something bigger, we’d love to hear from you.
