Mature Drummer Required

Who are we and where we have been- Female Guitarist /Vocalist & Male Bass Player/BV's. Have spent 3 year performing together playing pop/rock songs with a laid back jazz feel. We mainly play covers, but also play a growing number of originals. We tend to get a lot of gigs ( paid ) over summer playing in beer gardens, markets and various other events.
Where we are now - We are wanting to lean more into our jazz side. I have recently bought an upright electric bass and am painstakingly learning how to play it, my bandmate is working on her jazz licks and chords. Its early days and we are both beginners really in this genre. But we are both quite determined.
Where we want to be - We are wanting to predominantly be an originals jazz band with maybe just a few covers. We have our sights set on playing at jazz festivals and concerts.
Who we are looking for - We are wanting a drummer who is tired of playing the same old covers ( Mustang Sally, Brown Eyed Girls etc ) and wants to evolve and develop their skills. We don't mind if you are not very experienced as long as you can keep time. We don't mind if you have never played played jazz before, in fact we would prefer it if you were just starting out on your Jazz journey like us , so we can all evolve at the same time. We are both in the 55+ bracket so would prefer someone of a similar age.
Other details - We currently practice in Warkworth. We are open to practicing sometimes in other locations if you have a place to offer.
