Female Singer Wanted – Wellington Blues-Rock Band

The Resistors are a newly formed Wellington-based blues-rock band seeking a female vocalist who can confidently front the band.

We’re an experienced lineup (drums, guitar, keys, bass) with a strong blues-rock foundation, but we’re flexible on song choices as we continue to shape our sound. The focus is groove, feel, and musical chemistry — not rigid covers.

We’re aiming for weekly rehearsals and monthly gigs, with flexibility around both as the band settles into its rhythm.

What we’re looking for

Confident female singer with stage presence

Comfortable fronting a band and owning the songs

Strong feel for blues / blues-rock / soul-influenced material

Open to interpretation and collaboration

Reliable and keen to gig

Bonus (not essential): ability to play guitar
