I’m Jacob, (J or Mitch to most)

Looking to get back into music after a bit of a covid induced hiatus.

I am very flexible with main instrument being guitar, can play lead, play steel or rhythm but just as happy on bass or drums depending on the project . Just happy to be making music with good people, heaaaps of experience and good gear and contacts

I sing fairly well, but generally happier on back up Vox

Have a mountain of originals in the rock, blues, indie rock, alt grunge kinda genre & demos i could send.

I would love to be part of a more experienced good energy band, full of entertainment for gigs with a good mix of covers and originals but
Equally keen to meet acoustic players and vocalists who want to write with me and work on some low key originals and recordings, ideally in the 30s , 40s & 50s age group (really don’t want to be jamming with guitar hero’s so please swipe left if that’s you)
I’m based south Auckland, travel for work, workshop in Huntly, so Auckland or Waikato wide suits me.
