Bass Player wanted Auckland based

I've got an originals band that do alt rock/pop kind of stuff (influenced by 70's/80's/90's kinda stuff) and we are looking for a bass player. The drummer and myself (guitar, vocals) have been playing together for a year (The Pillocks), and have recently lost our bass player as he couldn't commit anymore. I'm looking for someone who's got an ear for a good bass part that fits the songs (doesn't have to be super technical, its not that kind of music). I want someone who's passionate and sees themselves getting somewhere within music perhaps, I think this is probably the most important thing as it will help us all see eye to eye and it will help with the band chemistry which is massively important. Ideally you can commit to 2 practices a week at least (we practice in mairangi Bay, North shore), and available for gigs, and if you can do backing singing that's a bonus. Own gear and reliable transport is pretty essential too. I really want us to be a great sounding band, where we all get on well and have a laugh at practice but still able to take it pretty seriously to try build a solid following.
