Hey Auckland musicians! We’re Springheel Jaxx, a rhythm-driven performance band blending tap dance, vocals, and live instruments into one high-energy experience.
We’re looking for a creative drummer to join us long-term and help shape our evolving sound.
Our lineup:
vocals
tap (rhythmic/percussive performance)
keys
viola
bass clarinet
Our sound mixes funk, jazz, soul, and pop with a strong focus on groove, improvisation, and showmanship.
We’re after someone who:
Loves jamming, writing, and experimenting with rhythm
Can play with movement and dynamics... not just to a click track
Is reliable, easygoing, and into the idea of growing something original
Wants to be part of a creative team, not just a backing player
Based in: Auckland (central rehearsals)
