Experienced bass player, looking to put something together in BOP or Auckland. Founding member of New Jersey's Hudson Falcons in the USA, now in our 25th year...however with Covid and other factors, the band is not currently active, so want to get something going here. If I had to describe a sound I'm chasing it would be Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers - fast, aggressive, trashy rock and roll. My goal is to find players who have the desire and ability to tour - this means time and money, there is just no other way to put it. I'm based in Tauranga but happy to travel to Auckland as needed, and ideally want players pro-enough to be able to learn songs individually, only needing to rehearse to pull things together before shows, tours, or studio time. I'm far less concerned with musical ability and far more interested in desire and work ethic, because anyone can learn to play but an asshole is always an asshole. I've been around a bit, over 230 shows in three countries, just really miss being on the road playing rock and roll. Not interested in drunks or junkies, and open to age as long as there is the right attitude (I'm 48). So that's who I am and what I'm about. If this sounds good then please hit me up.
