My name is Ben, I've been playing music since I was 6 and am currently a university student in Auckland. My main instrument is tenor saxophone (also alto and baritone) and I can also provide backing vocals and rhythm guitar (poorly). I've played in concert bands, jazz bands/ combos, church bands and saxophone quartets and orchestras. My favourite genres of music include rock n roll, rock/ pop and basically any music from the 50s until the early 90s but I play around with most genres anyway. My favouite bands include Toto, Cold Chisel, Dire Straits, The Eagles, Hall and Oates, Huey Lewis and the News, Dragon, Journey, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Late 80s Mercedies, Split Enz, Crowded House, and Billy Joel, Frank Sinatra and John Mellencamp.
