I am primarily a bass player that dabbles in a bit of guitar. My preferred music comes from the 70s - 90s, with a blues rock bias. Yes, you guessed it, I'm a covers guy ;) I have done a little bit of jazz too. I play 4 and 5 string electric basses, upright electric, and Ashbory bass. I have been playing for about 45 years now. My gear comprises a Status Stealth II 5 string, Steinberger 4 string, the afore-mentioned Ashbory, SWR and Ashdown amps, a Hartke 2x10 and 1x15 stack, and a GK combo. My upright bass was recently destroyed while moving house, and will shortly be replaced with a Chapman Stick.

I'm mainly in it for the fun these days, and value band-mates with a laid-back attitude and a sense of humour. That's why cover bands are so much fun - not too serious ;)

When I'm not playing music, I'm an airline pilot, motorcyclist, sailor, and restorer of classic cars. Ya gotta have fun!
