Hi,
I play guitar, bass and can play drums and keys a bit too.
I have many years experience with music, but I actually prefer to take a bit of a back seat, and would really like to hook up with some talented musos and see what happens. I can write, arrange etc, but this is not really my ambition.
I am also an experienced sound engineer, having worked in one of NZ's top studios some years ago. I also have a basic ProTools set up.
I'm into real, honest music and I'm a firm believer in playing for the song.
My influences are (disturbingly) varied. My real favs are groups like: Bailterspace, Shellac, Radiohead, Sonic Youth, Slint, The Kills, Pixies, PJ Harvey, Husker Du, Velvet Underground. I also love the heavier stuff like BeastWars, QOTSA, Soundgarden, Kyuss etc.
I live in central Auckland.
