I am a young 50-year-old keyboard player originally from the UK with 20 years experience of playing in a wide variety of cover bands - rock, 80s synth, soul (Commitments tribute), 60s Britpop, Abba tribute, even (a long time ago) accordion in a Ceilidh band. Eclectic range of musical interests - my nirvana would be a Pink Floyd or Genesis cover band, and would also love to play pop/jazz/swing a la Caro Emerald - but would consider most genres. Not looking for fame or fortune - just a weekly practice, a few gigs, and lots of fun! Can play passable rhythm guitar and happy with BVs though not lead vocals. OK with covers or originals. I am easy-going myself and ideally looking for other easy-going musos to enjoy playing music together and giving audiences a good time. I have my own keyboards, amps, mike, transport and some stage lights if needed. Based in Wellington - not looking to travel too far.
