Garage Beginner bands

Hi! I'm currently rediscovering my vocal talent and I'm wanting to start getting familiar with bands/singing etc. I'm really hoping to just find a garage/beginner band of some sort to simply hang out with and see what happens. People who enjoy mucking around with music in their spare time kinda thing. My main influence is Sticky Fingers/Dylan Frost, but I love a huge range of genres/bands, especially if they challenge my vocals.
