I'm 40's, was Melbourne based plying in two exp jazz bands there, live gigs etc...have moved to Hamil-tron, town of the future.....
NOT interested in cover bands and that whole thing.
Just some regular band practices with the overall intention to gig and record.
I really like bands like Jesus Lizard, Early Cure, Big Black.
BUT....
My playing style comes out like the trinity seasons Cowboy Junkies or a twin peaks soundtrack, that's just how I play...its sort of unusual bluesy, jazzy a bit haunted, reverb, bit of delay etc....that's my sound and I have come to accept it. So im working with that. I do have and have written a lot of stuff to go on, so not empty handed on 25+ years playing bass.
Ideally would like to team with a drummer and vocalist only, smooth haunting interesting, different.
Hamilton based, own equipment, can travel.
