Guitarist vocalist looking for a fun project

Hey all,
I've just moved up from Christchurch and wouldn't mind making some noise!
I'm in my mid 30's, a fairly competent singer and guitar player, not spectacular at either but I can hold my own. I've been the lead singer in my last few bands but I'm trying to avoid that if possible and do more of a backup vocal role.
Pretty keen to play some high energy music - mainly skate punk, rock, easycore etc. Ideally melodic in both music and harmonised vocals, similar to bands like Red City Radio, Four Year Strong, The Flatliners, Story of the Year, Coheed and Cambria, moving into more mainstream bands like Foos, Rise Against... Pretty vague but hopefully that's a good idea of the range I'm keen on.
