Bass Player Wanted for Thrash Band

Hi there!
Two 20 year old rock/metal guitar players from Christchurch looking for like-minded individuals of a similar age to jam with and make music. We are also hoping to get out and play some gigs in 2022. We need a bass player with around 3+ years of experience and a reasonable level of proficiency on their instrument. Own gear is a must, preferably gig ready however that is not a requirement. We do however have access to bass equipment for rehearsals.

We are wanting to have a band with a classic 80’s thrash sound with the potential of exploring prog and classic rock elements. We’ll probably start off with covering classic songs until we make enough sturdy original material. We are not virtuosos of our own instruments and are hoping to recruit similarly skilled musicians who have a decent grasp on what they’re doing. We both have around 3 and 5 years experience so we are relatively intermediate players ourselves. Long hair is a big plus
