Seeking musos for online collaboration

Hi all, I’m a guitarist in my late 30's based in Wellsford, Auckland - looking for other musos (namely, drummer, bassist, keys/synths, vox) to collaborate with online. I’ve played in a few bands over the years but have been pretty much solo for the last few, just messing around with my own stuff at home.

Being this far from main centres like Auckland city etc. means driving to regular in person jam & practice sessions is tricky. I have family and work commitments that use up most of my time, but I’d really love to collaborate with and write songs with other musos around the country and perhaps form a virtual band of some description.

Aside from guitar, I can also sing, tinker on synths, play basic bass, program drums and produce/mix at an intermediate level.

With technology these days, I’m sure that writing songs, sharing DAW project files, and creating original music remotely won’t be very hard :)

In terms of styles, I’m a child of the 90's so tend to gravitate towards alt-rock in my own writing, but i listen to and enjoy a lot of other styles, including metal, punk, prog, industrial, electronic, pop etc. So quite open to anything!

I’m happy to work on your ideas, not just my own! Original music is my primary interest but i do enjoy making covers with a personal twist etc.
