Musicians wanted for Auckland Jams

Bassist and guitarist looking for musicians to start/join an experimental project/collective. Specifically, we’re hoping to connect with a female vocalist, keyboard/synth player, and a drummer.

This is playing music for the sheer joy of it. For the moment, this is a casual studio-based project, working with original ideas, playing interesting covers (unique interpretations or just banging them out straight). It’s very loose and we hope, destined to be very creative and enjoyable. Vast range of influences from rock, pop, soul, fuck, electronic, movie soundtracks and so on…

Please note: we’re not looking to do pub gigs. It’s not that kind of jam. Gigging might happen but if so, it’s way down the line. Right now, as stated, this is playing music for the enjoyment of being creative.

We’re both in our forties (from the UK). Age isn’t important. Even if you’re in a band already but want to cut loose/jam/experiment, meet new musicians, have fun and flex your music muscles, give us a shout. Thanks!
