Hi, I'm Simon.

I'm an acoustic rhythm guitarist, been playing a long time but have never practiced often enough so consider myself a confident beginner. I can keep going and keep time, I know when to skip a chord I can't play or to sort out an easier version - but I'm not expert enough to improvise a progression once told the key, much as I'd love to.

I can be persuaded to sing backing if there's enough going on, but my pitch isn't accurate enough for lead. I'm confident and enthusiastic on stage with lots of MC and presentation experience.

Would love to join a band, or help form one, see where it goes. Probably best suited to larger bands of 4+ where an acoustic guitar lends texture and depth rather than being the main event. I'd be happy to try and help a solo singer, but if they're good enough to keep things together over my playing they're likely good enough for greater things!
